Our story
Trucker’s Body Shop was founded by Garrett Steenblik, an owner operator trucker who lost 200 lbs while driving cross country.
One day while fueling, he saw another driver weighing more than 450 lbs collapse at the pumps trying to fuel. He helped the man up as he struggled to breathe, and the man’s co-driver, his wife, exited the cab panicking.
The look of fear in her eyes and the desperation on the man’s face were burned into Garrett’s brain. So, Trucker’s Body Shop was born.
Between his hauls, he collaborated with experts in health care, a military veteran trucker, and veteran trucking health coach/fitness advocate Bob Perry.
Garrett invested into building a team of cross country physicians and pharmacies that could help his underserved brothers and sisters, affordably, on their time; and give back to causes and industry associations that matter.
